Welp. Today is the day. The content ban and new policies are fully in effect, and people are leaving in mass. When I made my Tumblr, it was to follow a bunch of artists I had fallen in love with over the years. It was a place I could see their works, and it brought me no end of joy. And now, every single one of them has been banned because of this policy, including those who never posted NSFW content. I have seen post after post of these artists, many of whom relied on this site to make their living, in a panic because they didn’t know if they would have a livelihood after today.
This all started because your app was taken down for the content on here. And you tried claiming this new policy was for a noble cause of stopping all the content like pedophilia that had cropped up. Let’s be real though, this is entirely about money. You did nothing to stop these issues before until it started costing you. So rather than dealing with the issue years ago, you are covering it up by new idiotic policy that hurts your users. Fuck you @staff
This will be my final post on Tumblr. For those of you I haven’t had the chance to add on Twitter (follow me at Jesaera), I hope I find you again one day. This site used to bring me so much joy, and I will miss it. Take care everyone <3
a couple friends and i realized from rewatching home alone 1 & 2 that it’s pretty much exactly the plot of sylvanas and nathanos trying to raid stormwind while anduin is left to guard it
yes that makes kevin mcallister’s mom varian, frantically searching for his son
The “Log Off” protest is in response to the recent NSFW ban announced by Tumblr. The ban flags all content the filtering system detects as NSFW, reducing visibility to the community. The system has proven time and time again that is inefficient, oftentimes flagging SFW material as NSFW.
This SFW material includes art, memes and so on. This ban directly hurts the community and will not solve the actual problems at hand due to the poor flagging system. Because of this, the entire community will suffer.
So to respond, I propose that every user on Tumblr logs off of Tumblr for 24 hours on December 17th at 12 am EST.
Times are listed above depending on timezone!
This post responds to some very common questions about the protest. So make sure to read it over!
This is not how I’ve planned to post here again. I’m still under the deep, dark, choking emptiness after the WS servers shut down, and now… this shit.
Patreon - with it’s discord the most reliable and frequent one Deviantart - pretty much abandoned Furaffinity - slow on updates Hentai Foundry - even slower on updates Twitter - currently empty but will move my junk here
If I’ll find other, more suitable places, I’ll upload there too. Feel free to suggest nsfw artist friendly sites. On that note, thank you for your support over these many years, the likes and the reblogs, and I’ll hope to see you again in some of these platforms. I only ask you to be patient until I’ll catch up with the uploads. ♥
For the @staff, merry fucking christhmas to you too. I was genuinely optimistic that you can fix your shit, instead, punching yourself in the nut seemed like a much better idea. I put my faith and trust in you guys over the course of many years, and now just in a few days, we’re all booted. Nice.
As my favorite green holo-man would say: “Good luck. You’re going to need it.”
Purging most of this gallery, as it’s flagged on almost every piece. I’ve created a mastodon as well (though I’m not too happy with the layout and the overall setting, but we’ll see where it goes): https://artalley.porn/@Stendra
Will update again when I find a site I like the most, but I’ll upload on all the given sites eventually.
Reblogging this here in case anyone missed it. I don’t think Newgrounds will fix the issue for me as I’m drawing a lot of scribbles and doodles that isn’t allowed there, so until further notice, It’s twitter, whose layout I hate with great passion.
I puged most of my nsfw blog so it will stay as it is, but not sure where the content will follow tbh. Patreon/discord is your safest bet at the moment folks, sorry.
Robes are stupid. My sorcerer dresses like Petyr Baelish.
To expand: if you are a mage, dress like a noble. Do not dress like a wizard. Pointy conical hat and sky-blue robes is medieval semaphore for “kill first and with extreme prejudice.” Tailored black silk over cloth-of-gold and studded with rubies says “Harmless, but valuable; ransom if possible or kill last.”
If you dress like a noble, they’re not going to pay attention as you take a turn or two to back away from the melee and prepare yourself. The ruse is only broken when you reveal yourself, at which point 8d6 fire damage is screaming toward them at Mach Fuck anyway, so no big.
counterpoint: if you don’t get to dress like someone ran a magical thrift shop through a rototiller and frankensteined the pieces back together what’s the god-damned point of being a wizard
The sartorial differences between wizards and sorcerers are on display, I think.
That makes perfect sense, really, since sorcerers don’t generally get a choice about gaining spellcasting abilities and might not want to advertise them 24/7 whereas wizards put a lot of effort into becoming wizards and didn’t spend years in Wizard Grad School just to be low-key about it.
And the fun thing about being a Bard is you can dress however the FUCK you want and nobody will think you’re a threat or take you seriously at all with your silly little violin until you’ve all been Mass Suggestioned and you and your allies are all killing each other with great prejudice.
